A Helping Hand During Hard Times

The goal of Stewardship Foundation is to help hardworking people get over the financial pitfalls in life and unexpected hard times, such as a lost job or medical expenses.

We have a network of property owners and donors who understand that it can be hard to catch up on monthly obligations when blindsided by a large and unexpected expense. It is our goal to help individuals and families overcome such obstacles.

The Stewardship Foundation can offer grants to renters of up to one full month's rent in order to catch up on delinquent payments, and avoid having to vacate or be evicted. Our grants are subject to available funds and the following requirements.

PROGRAM Requirements

Currently lease a property from an owner, property management company, business, or institution in the Stewardship Foundation network.
Have lived at their current residence AND been under lease with an owner, property management company, business, or institution in the Stewardship Foundation network for at least the prior 12 months.
Have made all previous payments during last 12 months.
Had an identifiable hardship that created an inability to pay rent or other housing-related expense.
Have a practical and achievable plan to return to making regular payments again the following month.
Have not received monetary assistance from the Stewardship Foundation in the prior 12 months.
